Today we will talk about the 1954 film "Atheist", which was directed and written by IS Johar. Choreography was done by famous classical dancers Lachhu Maharaj and Narendra Sharma. The dialogue writing was by Mrs. Ramma Johar, wife of IS Johar. Ajit, Nalini Jaywant, Ulhas and IS Johar played the main roles.

 The film depicted the pain of partition and the film was banned for some scenes, yet the film was highly successful.

 Music composed by C. Ramchandra ji and lyrics written by poet Pradeep ji. One of the songs of the film "Dekh Tere Sansar Ki Halt Kya Ho Gayi Bhagwan" became very popular. Sahir ji also wrote a song on this tune for the film Railway Platform which was shot on Sunil Dutt "Dekh tere bhagwan ki condition kya ho gayi insaan, kitna badal gaya Bhagwan".
