Storyline

 Rupa goes out traveling with her grandma (Pratima Devi) to the town where they meet the sickly Rai Saheb (Badri Prasad), a rich old man of his word. Rai Saheb has a grandson, Rajju, whom Rai Saheb and Rupa's granddad had quite a while in the past chose would sometime be hitched to Rupa. Rai Saheb utilizes close to home extortion to convince Rupa's grandma to consent to a commitment among Rupa and Rajju. However at that point Rai Saheb has a coronary episode and on his deathbed, he demands that Rupa and Rajju be hitched right away. Both the youngsters are under-age and don't know nor comprehend that they have been hitched. Rupa's mom, back at home finds reality and promises to clear out each and every memory of Rupa truly being hitched. Years laters, Rupa (Vyjayanthimala) has now grown up to be an exquisite young woman and is enamored with Ashok (Uttam Kumar). Rupa acquaints Ashok with her mom, who supports him, and plans are set to wed them. Then, at that point, Roopa figures out that she has previously been hitched in kid hood. This makes a contention in her. Others also find out and out of nowhere Roopa is segregated. To add hazard to the circumstance, Rupa's cousin Sonia plots to isolate Ashok from her. How might Rupa and Ashok manage this disgrace? Will they win in their adoration?
