Storyline
Pyarelal (Raj Kapoor), a dimwitted and incredibly innocent young fellow, was stranded upon entering the world, and presently lives with Fatima (Lalita Pawar), a Muslim landlord who deals with him like her child. Once, he sets on an excursion and meets a young lady with whom he experiences passionate feelings, Kamini Gupta (Saira Banu). Sir Mayadas (Kamal Kapoor), the individual who brought her up is Pyarelal's genuine dad. Out of nowhere, Pyarelal is captured on the charge of homicide. Nobody accepts that an innocuous man like him could carry out a wrongdoing, not to mention kill. Nonetheless, Pyarelal straightforwardly concedes in court that he is to be sure blameworthy, and requests the death penalty for it. The explanation he does that is revealed after a few privileged insights, later on.
