Storyline

 Brahmachari (Shammi Kapoor), a vagrant with no personality, brings care of many vagrants in his back home. Being poor, it is difficult for him to deal with all their requirements.

One day he saves a young lady Sheetal (Rajshree) from ending it all. She's infatuated with Ravi Khanna (Pran) who is wanton. Brahmachari vows to join her with Ravi as a trade-off for cash. Constantly he chips away at her appearance to make Ravi like her, yet Brahmachari goes gaga for her en route. At the point when Ravi proposes to Sheetal, she understands she cherishes Brahmachari. Ravi, be that as it may, acquires tension based on Brahmachari in conditions of relinquishment of the home loan on Brahmachari's home, due to non-reimbursement of advances. Ravi persuades Brahmachari into surrendering Sheetal by promising to reimburse the home loan duty in return, to which Brahmachari hesitantly concurs. To persuade Sheetal, Brahmachari claims to be sincerely engaged with Rupa. Nonetheless, when Rupa attempts to take off from her infant kid at Brahmachari's home, Brahmachari figures out that the kid's dad is Ravi.
