Baground


 Kismat  is a 1968  film directed by Manmohan Desai, produced by Kamal Mehra and released under the banner of Pride of Asia Films. It stars Biswajeet, Babita, Helen and Kamal Mehra in prominent roles. Other notable actors in the film are Bhagwan Sinha, Murad, M. B. Shetty (father of Rohit Shetty), Hari Shivdasani, Hiralal, Indra Kumar, Jagdish Raj (as Jagdishraj), Polsan, Prem Kumar, Paul Sharma, Tun Tun and Ullhas.


It can be categorised as a romantic family thriller film. It was shot in 14 reels, using 35 mm film format in Eastman Color.

Storyline


 The country is struck by a progression of bomb shoots spread the nation over. The Magistrate of Police is puzzled regarding who is behind these assaults. The Chief gets an unknown call where the guest says that he knows who the geniuses behind the impacts are and their partners. He additionally says that he might want to help the Police. The witness then says that he has put away the names and pictures of driving force and their partners in a microdot. The source here is the Mr. Gonz, proprietor of the store 'Curve Melodic and PhotoShop'. The fundamental driving force or the lowlife is Scorpion. He discovers that the source is going to give their association's data to the police. Scorpion then sends his men or thugs to recuperate the microdot.


When the hooligans enter the shop and compromise the witness to give the microdot, the legend Vicky enters the store to get his guitar. The witness slips the microdot into Vicky's guitar and Vicky leaves. The hooligans understand this and follow Vicky. Vicky is a vocalist and guitar player at a neighborhood club. He alongside Nancy engage the groups. After the night show, Vicky and Nancy head to Vicky's room. Here they experience Mr. Gonz who is seriously harmed. In the mean time, the hooligans follow Vicky to his room and kill Mr. Gonz. They attempt to take the guitar (his dad's gift) containing the microdot from him, however Vicky breaks with the guitar. He is on the run and attempts to persuade the police that Mr. Gonz has been killed, however can't do as such. He again experiences the thugs. This time he escapes from them and loads up a train. Here he meets Roma who has additionally taken off (from her home) because of the severe standards implemented by her rich and well off father.


During the train venture, Vicky and Roma become well disposed. The hooligans follow Vicky and attempt to go after them on the train. Vicky and Roma figure out how to escape from the train. They are in no place and begin heading towards the closest town. En route to the town, they experience Jani Bhai, a designer, who gives them a ride to the town, with his modified vehicle. Jani and Vicky become best of companions and Jani finds Vicky a line of work as a guitarist/vocalist in the inn by depicting him as a popular artist. As it turns out, Roma is remaining in a similar inn. Vicky and Roma fall head over heels. Scorpion discovers that Vicky is remaining in the lodging through his cohorts, Julie, present as a representative in the inn. In the interim, Nancy arrives at this inn and makes a misconception among Vicky and Roma. Roma dumps Vicky and Nancy takes Vicky to her room. Nancy plots to kill Vicky however simultaneously, winds up dead coincidentally. While biting the dust, she tells Vicky that Scorpion had sent her and she was constrained to kill since her folks were kept prisoner. The remainder of the film manages what scorpion's identity is and whether Vicky and Roma get together.
