Ek Phool Do Mali is a 1969 Indian Hindi film directed by Devendra Goel. The film is based on the book Do Kadam Aage by Sampat Lal Purohit.The film was a Blockbuster and second highest grossing movie of 1969 along with Aradhana & Do Raaste. Balraj Sahni earned a Filmfare nomination as Best Supporting Actor. The story was miscredited to Mushtaq Jalili, and is said to have been an inspired adaptation of the 1961 Hollywood classic Fanny, which is debated. The film was remade in Turkish as Evlat in


Storyline



Somna is an unfortunate lady living with her bereaved mother, Leela, in the bumpy district of India and Nepal. She earns enough to pay the bills dealing with the apple homestead of the rich single man, Kailash Nath Kaushal. Kaushal likewise runs a mountaineering school where Amar Kumar is one of his understudies. Somna and Amar meet, become hopelessly enamored and choose to get hitched not long after Amar gets back from a climbing undertaking.
