Storyline

Seema is the lone offspring of bereaved Mohan, who is embraced by Mohan's chief, Sardar Ranjit Singh, who has no main beneficiary of his home, as his girl, Jamuna, ran off with an unfortunate laborer, Gopal. Ranjit doesn't coexist with his step-sibling, Shankar. Jamuna figures out how to pacify her father, and he goes to her home, just to find it on fire with Gopal consumed to death, and their child, Separate, missing. Years after the fact, Seema has now grown up and meets with a young fellow named Pyarelal in Ooty. She meets him a year after the fact, yet this time he presents himself as Jhatpat Singh, a man she was probably connected with to in their life as a youngster. Presently she meets with the genuine Jhatpat Singh, and alters her perspective on the phony Jhatpat Singh pseudonym Pyarelal. Presently Sunil realizes that he was taken on and comprehends that he was the lost child of Gopal. He goes to Sardar Ranjit Singh and selects to be a home chief. There he meets Seema once more and they revive their sentiment. At that point, intending to take away property, Shankar sends his child as the lost child of Jamuna and Gopal. Ranjit Singh trusts him and needs to wed Seema to Shankar's child. After certain misconceptions, family at last reunites and Jamuna's mental soundness returns. Film closes with the marriage of Seema and Sunil/Divide.

It is one of two movies in which Music Chief Rahul Dev Burman assumes a part of Jhatpat Singh's colleague in the film separated from giving the music for the film, the other being Bhoot Bungla.
