storyline

Ashok is unable to forgive himself for the childish joke that caused his sister Roopa's blindness. His primary goal is to help her regain her vision. He finds out about a new procedure that can accomplish this, but the cost is far over his budget.

A wealthy woman named Sarojini, who is caring for her three grandchildren and detests love weddings because her twin sister had strayed, wants them to have arranged marriages at all costs. As the oldest (Asha) despises males and the other two are already in love, she has trouble matching them with young men of her choosing. Sarojini assigns Ashok the task of making Asha pleasant and ending the two younger sisters' relationships.
